Tiffany Kruse- Sports & Marketing Director/ Softball and Volleyball Instructor
Tiffany was a 2-sport athlete at Luther College. Her personal highlights in softball include a 5th place finish at the Division
III World Series, 2010 Louisville Slugger/ NFCA 1st Team All-American Honors, and 2010 Diamond Catcher of the Year.
Tiffany has played in 3 NCAA Regionals at the following positions: Designated Player, Right Field, and Catcher. Her
volleyball highlights include 2 time team MVP honors and an NCAA Regional appearance. Tiffany has coached the
Monticello softball team for 1 year. She won a conference title, competed in a Regional Final, and produced 2 all-state
honorees.
Single Lesson Rates: $20 for 30 minutes. $30 for 60 minutes.
Series of Lessons Rates: $10 for 30 minutes. $20 for 60 minutes.

Kevin "K.J." Johnson - Softball Instructor
Kevin is a former head coach at Alburnett High School. He won two state softball championships in 1999 and 2005 and a
runner up finish in 2000. Under his coaching Alburnett has produced 11 college players from Junior College to Division 1
level.

Nick Miller - Baseball Instructor
Nick was born and raised in Monticello, Iowa. He graduated from Monticello HS in 2004 where he was a four sport athlete
and a four-time All Conference selection in baseball. Nick went on to play baseball at Kirkwood Community College for
two years. After Kirkwood, he continued to play baseball at Loras College until he graduated in 2008. In 2006 he had the
opportunity to umpire multiple games for the Iowa Cubs and Cedar Rapids Kernels as a replacement umpire. He has
been a certified high school baseball and softball umpire since 2005. Rates: $20 for 30 minutes. $35 for 60 minutes.

Robert played on the state runner-up 4A Mason City Mohawks. He started for 2 years at North Iowa Area Community
College and started 2 years at William Penn College. His personal highlights include a trip to the Division III World
Series and a .052 14-1 record for one year. Robert has been a coach for 7 years in the North Cedar area. As a coach in
the Wapsi Valley League, he produced 6 league championships, 1 USSSA Eastern Iowa championship, 1 USSSA National
Championship in 2011, and numerous travel team championships for a record of 364-83. His areas of strength include
solid pitching fundamentals and strong hitting techniques. He has conducted hitting and pitching clinics.
Rates: $20 for 30 minutes, $40 for 60 minutes.

Mike Schemmel- Sports Operations and Maintenance
Mike was born and raised in Monticello, Iowa. He was a 2 sport athlete in cross-country and track. He is currently active
playing slow-pitch softball, golf, and running. Mike does an exceptional job with the upkeep of the facility along with
ensuring that the day to day operations run smoothly.
